What does a tomato have to do with time management? In essence, nothing but the Pomodoro technique is something you are going to want to know!
The Pomodoro Technique is the practice of breaking up your work day into short intervals. 25 minutes of work followed by a five minute break. Repeat 4 times and take a longer break of 15-20 minutes. Repeat.
Working in short intervals can help you stay focused on your task. short activity breaks also give you a chance to let out some energy or frustration, clear your head and refocus. Time management will help you accomplish more in less time.
Take a few days to try this technique yourself and see if it helps your productivity – I know it helps mine!
To really keep your energy levels and productivity up, I highly recommend dance breaks during the five minute breaks – play your favorite song and start moving! Music feeds the creative soul, is energizing and dancing makes a great quick fitness break as well!
